Zorro

Meet Zorro — a charming little character who may not wield a sword, but he’ll certainly carve a “Z” on your heart with his quirky personality and eager enthusiasm! As a stray with no previous history, Zorro has shown he can settle comfortably into a home environment who can offer guidance with his house training and handling. A secure garden is essential, giving him safe off-lead time and helping him perfect his bathroom manners. He’s a boy who prefers not to be left alone for long, so any time alone will need to be built up gradually and kindly.

Zorro bonds well with both men and women and enjoys company, though he doesn’t necessarily need constant fuss — once he’s settled, he’ll often entertain himself with a toy like the true masked crusader he is. His handling sensitivities—particularly around his collar, face and legs—mean he’ll need patient, positive training. He doesn’t love busy walking routes just yet, so quieter strolls are best while he builds confidence. Think of him as a hero in training: brave, eager, and working on polishing his skills one step at a time.

When it comes to other dogs, Zorro’s social skills still need work. He can become easily frustrated and full-on in play, so he’s not suitable to live with another dog, though with ongoing training he may eventually manage calm visiting in the future. No cats, please — even masked heroes have their limits! Zorro loves tug games, hard rubber toys, and high-energy fun, but soft toys don’t stand a chance against his swashbuckling enthusiasm. With a patient, present household willing to continue his training and help him navigate his world safely, Zorro is ready to begin the next chapter of his story — and he’s hoping it’s one where he gets to be the hero of your home.
