Asking us to take in and rehome your pet

As well as providing shelter to many hundreds of unwanted or abandoned animals each year, we also help owners in our local area who are no longer able to care for their pet for any reason. You must live in our catchment area in Bath and North East Somerset or Wiltshire. To confirm you are within our catchment area, you can search your postcode on www.rspca.org.uk/whatwedo/yourlocal or call us on 01225 787321 (during office hours).

We understand that it can be a very big decision to ask us to rehome your pet.

Please be assured that we are here to make sure that your pet will receive the best care and find a loving new home that they need.

Handing over your dog

Use the link to the form below to tell us a bit more about your dog and register your request. You will then be put onto a waiting list so we recommend that you also contact other rehoming centres at the same time.

We ask lots of questions so we can help them settle in at the centre as well as help us find them a suitable home.
