Sugar

Sugar is a joyful and affectionate young lurcher with a soft spot for human company and a strong love for toys—especially ones that squeak! At just three years old, she’s full of life and ready to bring her cheerful energy into a loving home. Sugar is happiest when she's around people. She’s affectionate and loves being close by, often seen gently chewing on a tennis ball beside you on the sofa. While she adores your attention, she’s also content to entertain herself with her favourite toys, making her a lovely mix of independent and cuddly. She’s looking for a calm, loving home with no other pets, where her people will enjoy her playful spirit and be happy to help her settle into a good routine. A safe garden, a stash of squeaky toys, and someone to share the sofa with—that’s Sugar’s dream come true. Sugar is very food-motivated and loves to learn, which makes her highly trainable. She may benefit from support with basic training and continued confidence-building. At present Sugar does not enjoy socialising with other dogs very much aside from her inner circle of friends such as Roman (Pictured). However in the future, with time, training, and care, her behaviour around other dogs may improve—but any socialising should be guided carefully with the help of a professional trainer or behaviourist. If you think you could be the perfect match for this sweet girl, please get in touch—Sugar’s ready to bring joy (and maybe a few tennis balls) into your life.
