Raphael

We would like to introduce Raphael! A confident, chatty, and affectionate boy who loves being involved in everyday life. He’s friendly with new people and full of character, often keeping up a running commentary on what’s going on around him. While he’s very loving, he can be easily unsettled, so he’ll thrive best with a predictable routine and plenty of interaction. Sometimes he’s happy relaxing nearby, and other times he’ll hop straight into your lap for a cuddle – all on his own terms. Raphael could cope in a busier home as long as he has quiet places to retreat to, and he’d be fine being left during the working day if he gets attention and playtime when his people return. He loves interactive play, especially feathery wand toys, and enjoys grooming and fuss. He’d be best suited to a home with children aged 12+, and he needs to be the only pet, as he shouldn’t live with other cats or dogs. Raphael isn’t suitable as an indoor-only cat and will need outdoor access, although he can’t use a cat flap and would benefit from some training to use one. He has no medical concerns, but he has shown some stress-related toileting issues in the cattery, which are being supported with behaviour medication and are expected to improve in a calm, settled home. Raphael is looking for an understanding home where he can feel secure, stay mentally stimulated, and enjoy being a much-loved companion.
