BOUQUET WARNING: Lilies that are often found in bouquets are incredibly toxic for cats. This includes all parts of the leaf and flower. If you are buying flowers as a gift for a cat-owner, please avoid these.

Symptoms of poisoning

If your cat shows any of these symptoms then contact a vet for further advice and treatment.

  • Collapses
  • Repeatedly vomits or has severe diarrhoea
  • Redness, swelling, blistering or rawness on the skin of the mouth or throat.
  • Off their food for a day or more
