Rhumba is a very affectionate girl, but she likes to take things at her pace. She can be a bit easily spooked, so she’s looking for humans who understand that the best friendships are built on trust (and patience… and maybe treats). Once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily come over for cuddles - usually in short, gentle bursts of fuss -before politely excusing herself for a well-earned nap somewhere cosy.
She would thrive in a quieter home where she can relax and feel safe, but she could also cope in a busier household as long as she has plenty of hidey-holes and high spots to retreat to when the world feels a bit too much. Rhumba is very good at knowing her limits and will take herself away when she’s had enough.
Rhumba may be able to live with another cat, with careful introductions. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive companion who will reward your patience with genuine affection and quiet moments of connection, Rhumba might just dance her way into your heart.
