Pawpaw

Meet PawPaw, a bright and beautiful Collie with a clever mind and a gentle heart who is longing for a home of his own. PawPaw is an intelligent herding breed, and when under-stimulated he can show typical collie creativity, such as moving stones or tossing his bowl, but with the right mental enrichment these behaviours are likely to reduce.

He is affectionate and friendly, enjoys fuss and sofa cuddles once invited, and is happy to greet strangers, although he can become excited when saying hello. PawPaw would suit an active home with people who can be around for most of the day, as he may struggle with being left alone and will need any time alone built up gradually.

On walks, PawPaw enjoys sniffing and exploring but can be alert and show typical collie stalking behaviour, and due to a prey drive he cannot be let off lead and would prefer quieter walking locations. He loves toys, especially soft ones he can throw around, though he can become a little obsessed with ball-shaped items and benefits from a good variety of enrichment. With understanding, structure and kindness, PawPaw has the potential to blossom into a loyal, loving companion who will bring intelligence, character and companionship to the right home.

More details about Pawpaw

PawPaw mixes well with other dogs and could live with a social, playful canine companion, but he cannot live with cats.
