Belle

Belle is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can enjoy being a much-loved companion.
Belle absolutely adores people and thrives on fuss and attention. Her favourite place to be is curled up on your lap, enjoying as much affection as you’re willing to give. She loves toys, especially squeaky ones, and is happy entertaining herself or playing interactively with her humans. In the garden she enjoys pottering about and exploring, although she does have a tendency to dig in flower beds; this can usually be redirected easily with a toy or she could have her own sand pit perhaps!
She settles very quickly into a new environment and, since being in foster care, has shown how well she adapts, making herself comfortable almost straight away. She has a real fondness for cosy spots, particularly a soft bed, blankets, or a bean bag, where she loves to dig around and nest before settling down.
Although Belle is very loving with people, she does find walks challenging. She barks at strangers passing by and doesn't like other dogs, so she wears a muzzle when out and must always be kept on a lead.
Busy environments can increase this stress, so quiet walking areas are strongly recommended.
With this in mind, Belle would be perfectly happy as a companion dog in a home with a secure garden, where walks are minimal or even unnecessary if her needs can be met safely at home. She is looking for patient, dog-savvy owners who will appreciate her affectionate nature and provide her with a peaceful routine. In the right home, Belle will reward her people with endless love, loyalty, and cuddles.
