Merlin

Merlin is a wise and wonderful boy who has spent his life in a home environment and is a true gentleman indoors - he's fully housetrained and happy to let you know when he needs to go outside. He loves being close to his people and has always slept either on the bed or right beside it, a tradition he’s continued in his foster home. Merlin is a loyal companion and will follow you from room to room, even waiting patiently outside the bathroom while you shower. He’s an affectionate, gentle boy who thrives on companionship and would suit a home where someone is around most of the time. On walks, Merlin enjoys getting out and about and especially loves to sniff everything in sight, although he can pull on the lead and tends to zig-zag as he explores. Merlin is generally good with most dogs and previously lived happily with a confident cat, so he could potentially share his home with a dog-savvy feline. Merlin may be in his golden years, but he has endless loyalty and love to give and is simply looking for a calm, caring home where he can be someone’s devoted shadow once again.
