Tulip is a beautiful girl with a gentle soul and a few quirks that make her extra special. Though she’s had a bit of a tough time recently, Tulip is slowly rediscovering the joys of affection, playtime, and human company.
When Tulip first arrived, she was understandably unsure — spending her time tucked away behind blankets on her climber. But it didn’t take long for her to start coming out to greet her carers, especially when she realised gentle fuss was on offer. These days, she still enjoys having a quiet hiding spot to retreat to, but she’s usually out and ready for company when someone comes into her space.
Tulip absolutely loves fuss around her head and cheeks and will lean in with clear enjoyment. However, she’s very sensitive about being touched on other parts of her body, likely due to some ongoing skin discomfort. She may hiss, swipe, or try to bite if touched in areas she finds uncomfortable — especially during formal handling.
This lovely lady also enjoys her play sessions and has a particular fondness for wand and teaser toys, which are a great way to bond with her and provide enrichment.
Tulip is looking for a calm home with someone who has experience with cats who need a little extra understanding. She’ll thrive with a patient and respectful adopter who can offer her the affection she craves — while also being mindful of her boundaries.
More details about Tulip
To stop Tulip wandering back to her old home, she cannot be rehomed in parts of Devizes. She also has no road sense so needs to be rehomed away from busy roads.
