Tom Tom

Tom Tom is a very sweet and sensitive boy who forms deep bonds once he trusts you. While he may be wary of strangers at first, those he chooses to trust are rewarded with affectionate cuddles, purring, and gentle cheek rubs. He's particularly fond of certain volunteers, happily curling up in their laps – a sign of how special it is when he connects with someone. If you have a quiet, loving home and the patience to let this gentle boy come out of his shell, Tom Tom could become a truly rewarding companion.
Tom Tom will thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time. In his foster home, he spent his first week tucked away in a cosy hidey bed. Now, with time and gentle care, he’s started to relax and can often be found snoozing on a windowsill or exploring his room.
Words from one of our cat volunteers who has been gaining Tom Tom's trust each day:
"After patience and words of encouragement, Tom Tom has started to become a lap cat. Once on the lap, he happily purrs away and even allows some grooming sessions to be included! Tom Tom has become more trusting and rolling over for belly rubs and brushing the belly which is a massive achievement and shows complete trust once you are within his inner circle of friends"
To avoid him wandering back to his previous home, Tom Tom cannot be rehomed to some areas around Trowbridge.

More details about Tom Tom

Tom Tom will need his own room to settle into while he transitions to his new home. Once comfortable, he'll be ready to explore more of the home. He could be rehomed with another low energy feline friend, ideally an older female.
