Leaving cats on their own
Everything you need to know about leaving your cat home alone
Cats, Welfare
Princess is a truly sweet and affectionate girl who is ready to find a loving, understanding home where she can be cherished. She is confident and relaxed around people, often choosing to sit out in the open so she can keep an eye on what everyone is doing around her. Princess is very people-focused and enjoys being involved in daily life, happily seeking out attention and companionship. She especially loves gentle grooming, and will rub her face all over a soft bristle brush, making it a lovely bonding experience.
Princess would thrive in a quiet home environment where she can feel safe and settled. She could live with a calm, cat-friendly dog, and may also be able to share her space with other cats, provided they are already cat flu carriers. She could also be considered for an indoor-only home, particularly given her additional care needs. Or if given outside access, Princess needs a home away from fast sporadic roads.
Princess does have some ongoing health considerations that her new home will need to support. She is currently receiving treatment for eosinophilic keratitis, an eye condition, and may require ongoing or future treatment to keep her comfortable.
Our rehoming team will be happy to talk through Princess’s care in more detail, and our Assisted Adoption scheme to help support some of her ongoing veterinary treatment. Despite her additional needs, Princess is a loving, gentle companion with so much affection to give, and she will make a wonderfully loyal addition to the right home.
