Marty

Marty came to us as a stray and we suspect he hasn’t lived in a home before. In our home-style room, he was initially quite anxious and didn’t seem to know how to settle. But with time and patience, Marty is slowly learning that home-life isn’t so bad! He’s learnt that he loves playing (especially with soft toys). He will chase any toy, however retrieving isn’t on his to do list, so using flirt poles would be beneficial! He's much better and settling and enjoys sitting with you on the sofa, keeping himself busy with puzzle games and treats. Marty will benefit from patient owners who can help him adapt to living in a home.

Marty does enjoy time with other dogs and gets very excited around them which can be a bit too much for a worried dog. He is always keen to greet people out on walks and is doing well learning to be more polite with his hellos. Marty will enjoy ongoing training to help him develop his manners around both people and dogs. With the right support, Marty has the potential to become a wonderful and rewarding companion.
