Buddy is a charming terrier with a playful personality and a big heart. Whilst initially very worried and unsure of the world around him, he has made wonderful progress and has become an affectionate, cuddly companion who loves spending time with people he trusts.
Buddy is looking for a calm home with adopters who will give him the time and patience he needs to settle. He can be wary of unfamiliar people and new situations, but when allowed to approach at his own pace, he shows a friendly and affectionate side. Once he feels safe, he loves curling up on the sofa with his favourite people and enjoys plenty of fuss.
He enjoys walks, soft toys, and games of tug, and is happy entertaining himself by tossing toys around. Buddy would benefit from quieter walking locations while he continues to build confidence. Buddy can be selective around other dogs and is most comfortable with female dogs of a similar size to himself. Buddy has the potental to live with a suitable female canine companion following introductions at our centre.
Buddy may take a little longer than some dogs to settle, but for someone willing to go at his pace, he will be an incredibly rewarding, loyal, and loving companion.
