Lola is a sweet, gentle girl with a lovely and affectionate nature who blossoms once she feels comfortable. She can be reserved and cautious when meeting unfamiliar people, but once she gets to know you, her affectionate side really shines through, and she enjoys fuss and attention, often nudging or pawing for more when it stops. She would thrive in a calm home where she can take her time to build confidence and form a strong bond with her new family.
On walks, Lola enjoys taking her time and having plenty of opportunities to sniff and explore, so she would benefit from quiet, peaceful walking areas. She is a nervous and selective mixer around other dogs and would currently prefer to be the only dog in the home while her confidence continues to develop. With patient handling, consistency and plenty of reassurance, Lola has the potential to become a wonderful companion and rewarding member of the family.
