Ernie

Ernie is a gentle and affectionate boy who takes a little time to feel comfortable in new surroundings. Once he has had the chance to settle, he enjoys coming over for a fuss on his own terms and is very social with people he knows well. He loves being brushed and enjoys snuggling up for some company. Ernie is also a curious boy who enjoys investigating things around him and having fun with fishing rod toys, as well as finding his own entertainment with things such as cardboard.

Ernie would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where he can take things at his own pace and have plenty of cosy hiding places to retreat to while he settles. He would prefer someone who is around for much of the day for company and reassurance, although he is happy to be left for periods of time. As he is sensitive to his surroundings, a patient adopter who can give him the time and space he needs will bring out his lovely affectionate nature. Ernie is looking for a quiet home where he can relax, feel secure and become the wonderful companion he is sure to be.
