Elinor is a gentle, independent cat who enjoys a calm, quiet lifestyle and likes to take things at her own pace. She can be affectionate once she feels comfortable, especially if you spend time sitting with her and let her choose when to interact. While she isn't a lap cat, she does enjoy the occasional cheek scratch and will make a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a thoughtful, understated personality. She would be happiest as the only pet in the home, where she can enjoy all the attention without sharing her space.
Elinor will need a patient family who can give her a settling-in room and allow her the time to build her confidence in her own way. Once settled, she enjoys relaxing in cosy spots and watching the world go by, showing her sweet nature more and more as she feels secure. With a little patience and understanding, Elinor is sure to become a wonderful friend and a much-loved member of her new home.
