Edward

Edward is a bright, bouncy young dog with a huge zest for life. He’s very friendly and affectionate, but his excitement can sometimes get the better of him — he loves to greet people with enthusiasm and is learning that four paws on the floor means attention! His carers have been working on calm greetings, and he’s responding well with consistent, reward-based training. Edward may never have lived in a home before, so he’ll need patient adopters to help him settle into a routine. He’s still working on his housetraining and doesn’t currently toilet on the lead or outside, so a secure garden is essential. On walks, Edward is full of curiosity and energy — he can walk nicely but can also zoom about when excited. He’s not suitable for off-lead exercise but enjoys exploring on long lines. He’ll need to be the only pet, though with continued socialisation he may be able to have visiting dog friends in the future. Edward will thrive with active, understanding owners who can provide structure, consistency and plenty of fun. He’s affectionate, eager to please and ready for a loving home to call his own.
