Barney

Barney is a beautiful Rough Collie looking for a loving new home. He is a gentle, affectionate boy who quickly forms strong bonds and simply loves being around his people. Whether he’s leaning in for a cuddle or following you from room to room, Barney is a loyal companion with so much love to give.
In the home, Barney is fully house trained and settles well, even in new environments. Barney enjoys his walks, walks nicely and loves to sniff and explore, and he’s also a big fan of toys, especially balls and games of fetch. He’s friendly with other dogs and could happily live with a calm canine companion, though he appreciates dogs that aren’t too boisterous.
Barney is a very affectionate boy who will thrive in a calm, caring home where he can feel safe and loved. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty, affection, and companionship to his new family.

Barney has to be the cuddliest dog I have ever looked after, he is like a giant teddy bear and loves fuss and attention. He enjoys going out for walks, doesn't pull on the lead and he likes to say "hello" to other dogs. In the garden he enjoys chasing toys and balls and generally sniffing around. He behaves well indoors apart from not liking the vacuum, he doesn't jump up on the furniture. He does get excited when it's food time. We have taken him in the car several times and although he whimpers a bit he seems fine, he's happier if somebody can sit next to him. He will make a great family pet and friend.
