When Donna first arrived as a stray, she was underweight and shut down. Since then, we’ve watched her blossom and are very proud of how far she’s come in such a short space of time. Now she has learnt how to trust, Donna adores attention, happily leaning in for fuss, climbing onto your lap for cuddles and greeting you with a waggy tail.
Understandably, new situations can still worry Donna and she'll need the chance to settle into her new home at her own pace, with patient adopters who understand that building trust takes time. However, she takes great reassurance other, confident dogs who can show her that new experiences can be fun and exciting.
We hope that Donna’s new family celebrate every step of her journey, and in return she will be a wonderfully loyal and loving companion.
