Chris is a lovely boy who is currently feeling a little overwhelmed in the cattery environment. Having been born and raised in his previous home, this type of setting is completely new to him, so he is finding it hard to settle right now. In a home, however, Chris was known as a friendly, confident, and very affectionate companion.
Once comfortable, Chris enjoys human company and would often come to greet his owner when they returned home. He formed a strong bond in his previous home and is expected to flourish again with a bit of patience and reassurance.
Chris will benefit from having his own quiet settling room to start with, allowing him to adjust at his own pace. He would be best suited to a calm household and, while he could cope with a quiet visiting dog, he would ideally prefer a home without a resident dog or cat.
A home where someone is around for much of the time would suit Chris well, although he has previously managed short periods, including the occasional overnight absence, without issue. With the right environment and a little time, Chris has all the potential to become a confident, loving companion once more.
More details about Chris
To prevent Chris wondering back to his previous area, he is unable to be rehomed to Midsomer Norton and Radstock . Chris previously lived in a quiet residential area, so should have some road sense.
