Adopting a kitten or puppy?

How we rehome our youngest animals

We do not put kittens or puppies onto the website gallery as there is a high demand. Instead, we keep a waiting list of adopters and you are contacted when we have a match for you.

You apply in exactly the same way as for adult pets, and we still match you carefully with the character and welfare of the young animal in mind. Once you are matched, our Rehoming team will let you know more about how it works.

Your next step is to apply using our application form (below). We also recommend going to our website gallery and search for 'young' animals to view those aged 6 months to 2 years old,

If you're a new pet owner, read our useful information below to learn about what it's like to own a puppy or kitten. It may not be for you - they take up a lot of time, and can make quite a mess! You might decide that a settled, adult pet would suit your home and lifestyle better.

If you're unsure whether adopting is right for you, submit an application and our expert Rehoming team can help you further with your decision. We want to make sure you and your pet have a lifelong friendship.
