Strawberry

Meet Strawberry – A gentle, sweet girl looking for a quiet forever home. Strawberry is a lovely 6-month-old kitten with a gentle soul and a big heart. She’s incredibly sweet and affectionate once she feels safe, often rolling around to ask for fuss and rubbing her cheeks against you to show her love. She enjoys attention on her terms and should always be allowed to approach in her own time. When she’s particularly excited during cuddle time, she can give the occasional playful nip, so she would do best with someone who understands feline body language and is happy to give her breaks when she needs them. Although friendly with new people and often curious enough to approach quite quickly, Strawberry can be a little wary and is easily startled. Because of this, she would thrive in a quiet, understanding home where she can feel safe and secure. She’s fine with visitors, as long as she has access to a quiet space she can retreat to if she feels overwhelmed. To help her settle into her new environment, Strawberry will need to start in an enclosed room for at least the first 24 hours. Once she’s confidently exploring that space, not hiding, and happily accepting attention with her new person present, she can begin to explore the rest of the home at her own pace. Strawberry enjoys playtime, especially interactive toys, but she prefers things to move slowly — quick movements or overly energetic play can worry her. With time, patience, and a gentle approach, Strawberry will blossom into a loving and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted young cat to build a bond with, and you can offer a calm and patient home, Strawberry could be the perfect match for you.

To stop Strawberry wandering back to her old home, she cannot be rehomed in parts of Birmingham. She also has no road sense so should be rehomed away from any busy roads.
