Socks

Socks is a charming and sweet-natured cat who enjoys attention and fuss, but he’s also perfectly capable of entertaining himself when needed. In his previous home he was a devoted lap cat, and once he feels comfortable, he’s more than happy to return to that role. When he first enters a new environment, Socks can be quite anxious. During his first few days in our cattery he remained mainly hidden. With patience and gentle reassurance, he began to approach for sniffs, slowly revealing his loving and inquisitive personality. Now that he’s settled, he is confident, affectionate, and enjoys meeting new people. Socks was in a suspected road traffic accident so has three legs, but this doesn’t slow him down! He is a very playful and active boy. He loves chasing string, batting around plastic balls, and exploring his surroundings. When he’s not in the mood for play, you’ll usually find him curled up and snoozing happily. Socks would do well in a calm and understanding home where he can take the time he needs to settle in. Once he feels safe, he becomes a wonderfully warm, engaging, and loving companion. If you’re looking for a gentle, playful cat with a big heart, Socks may be the perfect addition to your family.
