Rue

Sassy lady Rue isn’t afraid to take charge! She always greats us with a hiss, making sure we know she’s the boss, before coming to settle down for lap snuggles and plenty of love. While she acts tough, we know that her apparently contradictory behaviour comes from her uncertainty and worried nature, so her new family needs to be prepared to give her time and space to settle in. She will need her own room so that she can slowly build up confidence in her new home. She hasn’t shown interest in play yet, but she enjoys climbing and hiding in well-covered cat trees.
Once you melt Rue’s icy exterior, you find that she is a gentle and sweet cat underneath it all, and she will be a rewarding companion for someone willing to put up with her giving them the cold shoulder initially!
Volunteer’s comments- "Wow! After chatting for a while and offering small bits of chicken, Rue became bolder. I sat on the floor and Rue climbed on my knee, then mooched around, climbing on and off my lap accepting fuss, Rue is a real softie!"”

More details about Rue

To stop Rue wandering back to her old home, she cannot be rehomed in parts of Trowbridge. She also has no road sense so will need to be rehomed away from any busy roads.
