Ruby is a sweet, quiet girl who’s looking for a calm and understanding home where she can truly blossom. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a bit of time and space, and she might just wander over for the softest cheek rubs and a quiet moment of affection. Winning Ruby’s trust is incredibly special, and once you do, you’ll have a loyal little companion by your side.
Ruby is currently living her best life with one of our lovely foster families, she has started to come out of her shell showing her playful side, lounging around the kitchen and relaxing on the sofa beside her fosterer.
She’ll need a peaceful home environment and a spare room where she can settle in at her own pace and build her confidence gradually. Ruby will thrive with patient adopters who are happy to let her take the lead.
A word from Ruby's fosterer:
Ruby is a gorgeous little lady with a tiny, adorable face, lovely markings, and the sweetest playful nature. She has very cute little ear tufts that give her a touch of woodland-creature charm.
At first, Ruby can be a little shy and prefers to take her time getting to know new people. But if you're patient and let her settle in at her own pace, you'll be rewarded with a wonderful companion who really blossoms once she feels safe.
When Ruby comes out of her shell, her playful side shines through. She is a big fan of hair bobbles (which she considers elite cat entertainment), catnip toys, and those rattly bouncy balls that she can chase around the house like a tiny professional athlete. She loves chin tickles and strokes, you'll often catch her purring away and making biscuits!
Ruby is also a devoted foodie who is vocal about her love for treats and this is quickest route to her heart. One of Ruby's favourite things is simply being near her people. Once she trusts you, she'll happily sit beside you for company, enjoying a movie evening or lazy afternoon or whilst you potter around the house.
Ruby is looking for a home that understands that the best things take a little time. Give her patience, love, and the occasional tasty treat, and you'll discover a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion who is absolutely worth the wait.
More details about Ruby
Ruby isn’t very streetwise, so she’ll need to stay safe in a suitable area away from busy roads and fast moving traffic. She can’t be rehomed to certain parts of Bath to ensure she doesn’t try to find her way back to her previous home.
