Ritz

Meet Ritz – a striking, independent boy with a big personality. He’s affectionate on his own terms and, when he chooses you, he’ll reward you with gentle head bumps, cheek rubs and even the occasional lap sit. He can be very vocal, often chatting to let you know he’d like attention (or perhaps dinner!), and food is certainly the way to his heart. Ritz can become overwhelmed by life, so he needs a calm, understanding owner who will respect his boundaries and read his body language. With patience and space, his softer side really shines.

Ritz would thrive as the only pet in a quiet home where he can enjoy outdoor access and the independence he loves. He enjoys perching up high, watching the world go by, and prefers fuss over energetic play, though he has been known to enjoy a bit of string fun. For someone who appreciates a cat with character and is happy to let him set the pace, Ritz will make a rewarding and unforgettable companion. As he is very food-motivated, it’s important that he can be kept out of the kitchen and dining areas.
