Pascoe came to kennels after his owner passed away, and initially he struggled to adjust to life without them. But Pascoe is resilient and is learning how to trust new people again. Once he knows you’re a trustworthy friend, he’ll happily roll over and enjoy a scratch. His carer has even taught him to offer paw when he wants more fuss – how clever! He needs a family who give him time and respect his boundaries.
As Pascoe came from a home where someone was around all the time, he will need patient adopters who can introduce time on his own slowly and at a pace he feels comfortable with. He enjoys getting out and about for walks, but busy areas can be overwhelming for him. Pascoe will benefit from owners who can continue to build his confidence using positive reinforcement and calm guidance.
For someone who appreciates a dog with a gentle, understated nature, Pascoe will make a wonderfully rewarding companion. If you feel you could offer this special boy the calm and supportive home he deserves, Pascoe would love to meet you.
