Meet Oreo, a sweet and gentle young lady with a heart of gold. She enjoys affection on her own terms and will let you know when she’s ready for fuss by gently pushing her head into you for cheek scratches, often accompanied by soft purrs and chatty little meows. She’s also very good at taking herself away when she’s had enough, making her an easy companion who respects her own space as well as yours. Oreo would thrive in a quiet home where she can feel safe and relaxed.
Oreo has a playful side too and loves to keep herself entertained, whether that’s chasing bits of fluff, darting around during her zoomies, or playing with teaser toys, especially feather ones, which are her absolute favourite! She also enjoys spending time watching the world go by from a cosy window spot. Oreo is a charming little character who will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm but playful feline friend.
Oreo has recently had entropion surgery on her eyes, a procedure to correct an inward rolling of the eyelids, and she is recovering well. Her eyes are healing beautifully, and she’s already much more comfortable. It’s expected that she shouldn’t have any ongoing issues, and she’s taking it all in her stride like the brave little lady she is.
