Mushu is a handsome boy who likes to take things at his own pace. He enjoys calm introductions and will often choose to come over to say hello when he's feeling comfortable. Once you've earned his trust, he'll happily settle beside you for some gentle fuss and quiet company. He's not demanding of attention, he's simply happiest knowing you're nearby.
One of Mushu's favourite things is his collection of soft toys! He loves picking them up, tossing them into the air, chasing after them and then settling down for a peaceful chew. Out on walks, Mushu continues to build his confidence. He prefers peaceful walking routes away from busy roads.
If there's one thing that really helps Mushu feel brave, it's having a calm canine friend by his side. He takes great comfort from other well-mannered dogs and often uses them as a guide when exploring new situations. For this reason, we'd love him to join a home with a calm, friendly resident dog who can help show him the ropes. While this isn't an absolute requirement as his confidence continues to grow, we feel he'd thrive with a canine role model.
Every new experience, every wag of his tail, and every small step forward feels like a huge achievement with Mushu, and whoever welcomes him home will get to be part of that incredible journey.
