Bean

Bean is a lively and characterful Patterdale Terrier cross who is looking for an experienced and active home that can meet his needs. Once he feels comfortable, Bean is an affectionate boy who enjoys settling down alongside his carers, especially when he has one of his favourite toys to keep him occupied.

Bean is extremely toy motivated and highly driven, showing many traits of a working-type terrier. He thrives on activity and engagement, particularly when toys are involved, and will need plenty of mental stimulation to keep him happy and fulfilled. Due to his background and natural instincts, he would benefit from having appropriate outlets for his energy, such as scent work, problem-solving games, and other enrichment activities.

Bean is best suited to being the only dog in the home, as he may find living with another dog challenging. However, with careful management, he could enjoy having a well-matched dog walking companion to help meet his social needs in a controlled way.

He will need adopters who are prepared for a high-energy, high-drive terrier who requires structure, consistency, and ongoing training. With the right guidance and outlets, Bean has the potential to thrive and build a strong bond with his new family. In return, he offers affection, loyalty, and plenty of personality to those willing to invest in him.
