Mindy is a sweet older lady, but can take time to settle into a new home. She is therefore looking for someone patient and understanding, who is willing to dedicate a little time to her until she shows her true colours - it doesn't take long! Once she's settled she will be a rewarding companion, as she loves a fuss, enjoys being around people and still has a playful side enjoying engaging in a game or two. On foster, she has fast become a lap cat.
Mindy is used to having outdoor access via a cat flap and enjoys pottering around outside. However, she will also enjoy some warm cosy resting spots inside, especially in colder weather.
Mindy will be a lovely addition to a family looking to provide a home for a cat who is looking for somewhere quiet to enjoy her senior years.
A word from Mindy's fosterers:
Mindy likes a quiet environment and loves to come over for fuss when she’s in the mood for a cuddle (or some food!). She can look quite grumpy when she is woken from a nap but will quickly forgive you for the disturbance. She continues to grow in confidence and is enjoying exploring the house at her own pace. She is becoming more vocal and more of a lap cat each day. She will certainly let you know when (she feels) it is dinner time…
