Lucy

Lucy is a gentle and independent 2-year-old cat looking for a calm, consistent home where she can feel safe and secure. She enjoys human company and will often choose to sit nearby, but prefers affection on her own terms. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle her, so a quiet household without young children or frequent visitors would suit her best. Lucy is used to being left alone during a normal workday and will happily greet you when you return—usually in search of food. She needs access to all rooms, including the bedroom, as being shut out can cause her stress, and she would benefit greatly from constant outdoor access via a cat flap. When settling into a new environment, Lucy needs a quiet room to start with, but once she gains confidence and feels safe, she becomes affectionate and enjoys gentle interaction.
