Fred

Fred is a gentle little soul with a big heart, looking for a calm and loving home where he can spend his golden years in comfort. At 11 years old, Fred is a mature chihuahua who still enjoys life’s simple pleasures — a cosy sofa, a warm lap, and the quiet company of someone he trusts. Fred can be a little shy at first, but once he’s had a bit of time to get to know you, he bonds closely and prefers to stay nearby. He’ll often hop up uninvited onto your lap — not necessarily for fuss, but just to enjoy your presence. He’s affectionate on his terms and happiest when he’s close to his chosen person. He’s very manageable on walks and walks nicely on the lead, making him a lovely companion for short strolls. He also enjoys being groomed and will sit patiently on your lap while you tend to him. Fred would be best suited to a quiet home where someone is around most of the time. He’s likely to struggle with being left alone, so any time apart will need to be built up gradually and carefully. He thrives on routine and the reassurance of knowing his favourite human isn’t far away.
