Dorothy

Toto and Dorothy are a gentle, bonded pair of sisters who are looking for a calm, understanding home where they can settle in at their own pace. Life has been a little uncertain for these girls recently, and while they may be shy at first, they have both shown that—given time, patience, and a bit of chicken—they’re capable of forming loving bonds. Toto is the more anxious of the two but has a wonderfully sweet nature. Once she feels secure, she enjoys gentle fuss on her terms and has grown steadily more confident in the cattery. Dorothy is a little braver, often the first to come out and investigate, and is very affectionate when she feels safe—especially if you come armed with treats and cheek rubs! These girls are closely bonded—Dorothy will often groom Toto and cuddle up with her in their favourite hidey spots—so they must be rehomed together. They’ve previously lived in a calm household and would thrive in a similarly peaceful environment with understand adopters, where they won’t be overwhelmed by too much activity or noise. While Toto and Dorothy may not be lap cats, they enjoy quiet companionship and have a lot of love to give to the right adopter. With time and space to settle, these two sweethearts will blossom into calm, loyal companions.
