When Chippy first arrived he was a hardened fighter, having been used to fighting other cats for food. He has quickly forgotten this lifestyle and now begs us for treats at mealtimes, loves having a cuddle and has turned into a total softie.
Chippy is looking for a home where he can be the only pet, with an owner who understands that trust and companionship may develop slowly. He may take time to show off his true colours, especially as we do not know when he last enjoyed home comforts. He may be initially worried by loud noises or household objects, but will gain confidence in time.
While Chippy loves people, he does not love other cats so would prefer a home without too many cats in the neighbourhood.
