Baker

Baker is a handsome young Lurcher who has grown in confidence during his time with Bath Cats and Dogs Home and is now ready to find a patient family of his own. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, his affectionate nature quickly shines through. Baker loves human company and will happily nudge you for fusses and attention from his favourite people. He also has a playful side and is particularly fond of soft, squeaky toys, which never fail to bring out his fun-loving personality.

Baker is still learning about life and is looking for adopters who will enjoy helping him discover the world at his own pace. He has already shown that he can make fantastic progress when given time, patience and encouragement, and it's been a joy to watch his confidence grow. Baker would benefit from living with a well-rounded adult dog who can help guide him, provide social learning opportunities and boost his confidence further, ideally one who understands and enjoys sighthound play styles.

Baker is looking for a home with a secure garden where he can continue his house training and enjoy safe off-lead time. Any time spent alone will need to be built up gradually, so he would not be suitable for a home where he would need to be left for long hours. With support, plenty of encouragement and a canine role model by his side, Baker has every chance to be a rewarding and loyal friend who will continue to flourish in the right home.
