Timid Theo is looking for an understanding home ready to let him settle at his own pace. He's had a stable life in a quiet, rural home, and is now hoping to find a peaceful environment where he can feel safe, loved, and unhurried as he settles in.
He is naturally shy and can be easily startled by new things, so he’ll need patient adopters who are happy to let him take life at his own pace. In his previous home, he was known to be very affectionate, so likely just needs to build a strong bond with a new family to really blossom and show off his true self. On foster, it has taken a few weeks for Theo to feel comfortable to explore and start to engage in a bit of play.
Theo would best suit a quiet home where there’s not too much noise or activity. He is used to having someone around during the day but can manage a few hours alone. A settling room at first will really help him feel safe while he adjusts.
He will be a very special addition to the right home, and winning his trust will be very rewarding.
A word from Theo's fosterers:
Theo is a calm presence in the house. Though he can be shy at times, he does love cuddles and playing with his toys. He has started to purr when he sees us come into the room and is happy to let us know when he thinks it’s time for a meal with a meow. He also enjoys sitting on the window sill and watching the world go by. He has fantastic white eyebrows and extremely soft fur, with a tiny splash of white at the end of his tail - making it look like a paintbrush!
