Here are our current job vacancies. Our dedicated team work closely together to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome over 1,000 animals every year – take this opportunity to be part of BCDH.
All roles come with set benefits (see Why work for us) as well as those in the job description.
Want to work with rescue animals to care for them, and help them find a new family? We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome over 500 animals every year, and it wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated Animal Care team making sure that, whilst they are here, they have the best possible life.
Bath Cats & Dogs Home is one of the busiest rescues in the south-west, and we strive to have the best in animal welfare. We have in-house behaviour and veterinary teams who look at nutrition, play, health and environmental enrichment to make our animals feel safe and cared for.
There are 20 like-minded people in our Animal Care team, and they are a hard-working and supportive family.
As one of our animal carers, you'll be the one who get to know our rescue animals the best, but the role encompasses much more than feeding and exercising.
You will have the discipline of completing routine cleaning and care to a high standard as well as the flexibility to work with the behaviour and veterinary teams to ensure every animal follows their own individual care plan.
You will have proven animal care experience ideally coupled with appropriate qualifications. Our animals come from a wide variety of backgrounds so you will have the patience to make sure they feel comfortable and secure.
Our Animal Carers are a passionate, hard-working team – will you join us?
Join us and take this opportunity - seeing first-hand the difference you make to an animal’s life is incredible every day.
