This week at the Home

Charity news

Festive opening, and present opening!

Our reception and offices will be closed over the bank holidays and some early closing, apart from our emergency desks of course. If you have lost a pet, found a stray or need to talk about handing a pet in, please do still call. You may need to leave a message but we will call you back as soon as we can.

But for our animals this is just another week of love and learning at the Home! All of our animal team will be in as usual to give expert care, albeit with a sprinkle of festive cheer. We do like to give the animals a little extra fun, with presents to open on Christmas Day!

If you would like to buy something for our animals, we have a wishlist of items on Amazon. » Click here to find out more about how that works.

Top of the list is more large cat climbing trees with a hidey hole at the top – we use these in the cat's outdoor area of each pod, and cover it with blankets to create a cosy hidey hole, as Twinkle is showing us below. It is a safe space for cats to observe from and gain confidence. We also have lots of smaller items on the wishlist and we also would use pre-loved pet items that are in good condition. Thank you so much for thinking of our animals at this time.

We wish you a safe and happy festive break!
