Savannah is a gentle and affectionate lady, while she can be a little wary of unfamiliar people at first, she quickly warms up when given space to approach in her own time and has built strong bonds with her carers.
Savannah has shown heself off as calm and relaxed once settled, enjoying a cosy spot on the sofa and plenty of fuss from her favourite people. She may find being left alone worrying initially, so any time spent alone should be built up gradually. She appears housetrained and has kept her kennel clean since arriving with us.
Savannah walks nicely on lead, enjoys exploring her surroundings and has shown some interest in other dogs and can enjoy canine company, but prefers calm, respectful companions who will give her space when needed. She could potentially live with a suitable dog following successful introductions on site.
True to her breed type, Savannah has an independent side, but she also loves affection and will happily roll over for tummy rubs when she feels comfortable. She enjoys the occasional toy and can entertain herself calmly, although her overall play style is fairly low key. For someone willing to let her settle at her own pace, Savannah promises to be a loyal, gentle and rewarding companion.
