Leaving cats on their own
Everything you need to know about leaving your cat home alone
Cats, Welfare
Leonard is a sweet, older boy who has really come out of his shell and now enjoys spending time with people. Once he feels comfortable, he is very affectionate on his own terms and loves plenty of fuss, especially cheek rubs and a good brush. He can still be a little wary and easily spooked, so he will need patient adopters who can give him time to build his confidence at his own pace. Leonard enjoys being around people and would suit a busy home where he can have company and attention, while also having cosy hideaways where he can retreat when he needs some quiet time. He is happy to spend time relaxing and is not particularly interested in toys, preferring cuddles instead.
Leonard would like to be the only cat in the home, although he may be able to live with a calm, suitable dog. He will need a settling room when he first arrives and may benefit from having this space for a little longer while he gets used to his new surroundings. With his gentle nature and affectionate personality, Leonard has lots of love to give once he knows he is safe and settled. He is a lovely boy who is sure to make a wonderful companion for the right home.
