Elvis

Elvis is waiting for someone to show him that life can be wonderful. After a difficult start to life, Elvis has come such a long way. His time in a foster home has given him the chance to discover what it feels like to be safe, loved and understood, and underneath those initial worries is a wonderfully affectionate, playful boy who has so much love to give. Once Elvis trusts you, he truly bonds with his people and loves nothing more than being close by, following you around the home, enjoying a quiet cuddle or curling up with a favourite toy.

He can be a little sensitive about the world around him, and new environments can take time for him to understand, so Elvis needs adopters who will let him settle at his own pace, without asking too much of him too soon. He is looking for an experienced home with adopters who are confident around bull breeds, and comfortable managing his needs around people and other dogs.

A secure garden, access to quiet walking spots and a peaceful lifestyle would help him feel confident and safe. Elvis would be happiest in a home without frequent visitors. He can be worried by strangers and can find unfamiliar dogs challenging, so his new family will need to advocate for him and continue the positive training and socialisation he has begun.

In the right hands, Elvis has so much potential to flourish, and once he knows you’re his person, prepare for a loyal, affectionate shadow who thinks playtime, cuddles and sofa snoozes are excellent ideas!
