Benson is a super sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves being around people! He is a confident, relaxed gentleman who will happily approach you for fuss, rubbing his cheeks and chin against your hands and even your face to soak up all the attention. Benson is a lovely, placid companion who would be happy in a busier home and would love a family who can spend plenty of time giving him affection, although he can manage a few hours on his own. Benson does have a rather unique little face, as he has had a significant portion of both sides of his lower jaw (mandible) surgically removed, thought to have been following a traumatic injury. Despite this, he doesn't let it stop him enjoying life and all the fuss and cuddles that come with it!
Benson has a playful side and enjoys chasing soft toys and playing with fishing rod toys. He would need to be the only pet in the home but could potentially thrive in an indoor-only environment with plenty of toys and activities to keep him entertained. Due to his jaw, Benson requires a soft-food diet and a slow feeder to help him enjoy his meals comfortably. This charming boy has so much love to give and is sure to make a wonderful companion for someone lucky enough to welcome him home!
