We believe that every cat and dog should have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy life and a happy home. So from advice and support, to rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming, we exist to positively transform the lives of pets and their owners.

Established at the Claverton Down site in 1939, we serve a 650 square mile area across Bath, north east Somerset and parts of Wiltshire.
Bath Cats and Dogs Home is part of the RSPCA network and works closely with RSPCA Inspectors to care for animals where there are immediate concerns for their welfare.
For two years running, we have been awarded the highest award for stray dog welfare from the RSPCA.
We are a full member of the Association of Dogs and Cats Home (ADCH).
We take in around 700 unwanted or neglected cats and dogs every year, including over 270 stray dogs.
We have an on-site vet suite, working with Bath Vets, and a dedicated behaviour team.
Every animal admitted to our care has a veterinary health check, given up to date flea, worm and vaccination treatments and neutered if not already. Each animal has a behavioural assessment and an individual care plan to improve their welfare on site and their chances of adoption.
Costs per kennel, including facilities, consumables and staff = £276 per week.
Costs per cattery pod, including facilities, consumables and staff = £131 per week.
