How to adopt a puppy from Bath Cats & Dogs Home

Thinking about getting a puppy? Did you know that you may be able to RESCUE a puppy? Here's how we rehome our dogs under 8 months old.

Personal service and peace of mind

We rarely put puppies onto the website gallery, instead we keep a waiting list of adopters and you are contacted when we have puppies in you may be interested in.

You apply in exactly the same way as for adult pets, we still match you carefully with the character and welfare of the young animal in mind.

Our adoption fee for puppies is currently £250. Before adoption we provide each animal with a health check-up, neutering, first vaccination, flea and worm treatments and microchipping, however this is not an exhaustive list. As a guide, you would pay around £200 for these services on top of the cost of your dog, if you were to buy privately.

After adoption, we are still here to help with advice and you can bring the puppy back to us in the event it doesn't work out.

But...!

Last year we rehomed 32 puppies, so there will be a waiting time on our puppy list. Be patient, and good things come to those who wait!

Here's some pups from a few years ago, having an enrichment paddock party. We always do our best to prepare young (and old) dogs for their new adopted lives.
