A dash of celebrity at Wag Walk

Charity news

TV presenter and vet Dr James Greenwood will return to support our Wag Walk this year

TV presenter and celebrity vet, Dr James Greenwood is returning to support Wag Walk again this September, pictured above with our Chief Exec Rachel and PR Manager Ali (we suspect his puppy Dolly will be getting too heavy for lifts now she's grown up!).

James said; “I am excited to be supporting the Wag Walk event in aid of Bath Cats and Dogs Home this September along with Dolly, my rescue Labrador. I have nothing but praise for the incredible animal welfare work provided by the Home as they not only do a wonderful job of rescuing and caring for cats and dogs they also rehabilitate their health and behaviour to get them ready to be safely rehomed. Join me on the Wag Walk if you can and let’s help to raise funds to care for vulnerable rescue pets who need all the support we can give.”

There are prizes for the top fundraisers who raise the most sponsorship, including a copy of Dr James Greenwood’s book ‘For The Love of Animals’ and the lucky winner will have their book signed by Dr Greenwood at the event. Other prizes include a Top Fundraiser lead cover and bonus items for the winner’s goody bags.

Plenty of places are up for grabs to join in this year’s Wag Walk register at before midnight on Thursday 31st August, with the event happening on Sunday 3rd September.
