Mackerel

Meet mackerel, a sweet yet independent young gentleman. His lovely boy is as handsome as his name is memorable, and he’s looking for a home that will appreciate his calm, easy-going personality. Mackerel is quite content entertaining himself, whether he’s watching the world go by from a windowsill or finding cozy spots to curl up for a nap. That said, he does enjoy human company and will often come over for some fuss—especially when the mood strikes him. He’s friendly and polite with new people and usually happy to say hello, though he prefers affection to be on his own terms. He’s not clingy, but he does like knowing you’re nearby. Mackerel does enjoy a gentle play session now and then. Teaser toys can catch his interest, and he might surprise you by batting around a few toys when the moment feels right. In a relaxed, loving home, he may well become more playful as he settles in.
Due to his age, we are looking to have him rehomed as soon as possible so please do get in touch if you feel you could offer Mackerel a home. If you are registered, give us a call on 01225 787331. If you are not registered, you are welcome to apply but please bear in mind that we reserve the right to rehome him to the most suitable match as quickly as possible to reduce his stay in the cattery.

More details about Mackerel

To stop Mackerel wandering back to his old home, he cannot be rehomed in parts of Bath. He also has no road sense so will need to be rehomed away from any busy roads.
