At Bath Cats and Dogs Home we feel that it is important to reach young people in our community and offer education regarding the importance of responsible animal ownership. We are committed to helping young people understand how to be kind and responsible pet owners. We know how vital this education is, and whilst we do not offer school sessions ourselves, we've found two highly regarded organisations who share this mission. We're proud to direct you to their fantastic resources.
The RSPCA Education website provides a wide range of free educational materials for teachers, including lesson plans and assemblies for KS1 and KS2 students. They also provide fun activities and resources for families, covering a variety of topics to help you learn together at home.

The Pet Education Partnership (PEP) is a collaboration between eight of the leading animal welfare charities in the UK: Blue Cross, Cats Protection, Dogs Trust, PDSA, RSPCA, SSPCA, USPCA and Woodgreen. Their website provides education resources ranging from curriculum-linked lesson plans and activities to events.
