The lurcher who found his sunshine

A rough start

Roo, formerly Rupert, arrived with a leg wound and a shy, nervous nature. He was unsure of stairs, strangers, and other dogs - but he had a waggy tail and a sweet heart.

Gaining confidence

With patience, care, and gentle socialisation, Roo learned to trust. A short foster stay gave him a taste of home life, and soon he was ready for his forever family.

The Happifier

Now, Roo’s tail never stops wagging. Playdates with other dogs are his favourite, he joins in every family activity, and his adopters affectionately call him “The Happifier.” Roo’s journey shows that sometimes, the dog who takes a little longer to find a home ends up bringing the most joy.
